Marlay Craft Fair
I'm looking forward to this year's Marlay Craft Fair, which offers a fantastic opportunity to buy Christmas presents from local traders and craftspeople. It's taking place this weekend. Spread the word. It will take place at Marlay House, Grange Road, Rathfarnham.
The opening evening of the fair is on Friday 22nd November from 6 -9 pm. However the fair runs all day Sat & Sun from 10 - 5pm so there is lots of time to get to see the wonderful range of crafts on offer.

Rathfarnham Village Traders in conjunction with local residents in Rathfarnham
Castle, Beaufort Downs, Brookvale and supported by South Dublin County Council
have launched an initiative - Rathfarnham Tidy Village and District - to enter
into the spirit of Tidy Towns.
Last weekend, working with equipment donated by South
Dublin County Council, the Group became the first major clean up of the area at
Spiders Hill behind Rathfarnham Village. The initiative brought out a large
crowd of residents who did tremendous work clearing overgrown vegetation,
rubbish and debris.
