River Dodder Catchment Flood Study

Have your say on how flood risk is to be managed in your area!

The Dodder Catchment Flood Risk Assessment & Management (CFRAM) Study addresses the existing flood risk around the River Dodder, its five main tributaries (Dundrum Slang, Little Dargle, Owendohr, Whitechurch and Tallaght Stream) and estuary, and the potential for significant increases in this risk in the future.

The results of the study – including flood maps, a Draft Catchment Flood Risk Management Plan - are now available for formal public consultation. An accompanying Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) report is also available, which identifies, evaluates and describes the likely significant effects of implementing the draft plan on the surrounding environment.

Comments are invited from the Public until 6 June 2023 on the flood maps, draft Plan, the SEA and NIS. All these documents are available on the project website www.dublincity.ie/Pages/DodderFloodingStudy.aspx and in hard copy at the following locations:

Civic Offices, South Dublin County Council, Tallaght, Dublin 24.

County Hall, Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown County Council,

Marine Road, Dun Laoghaire, Co.Dublin.

Dundrum Area Office, Dundrum, Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council.

Any comments, views or feedback should be sent by email to the project email address [email protected] or by post to the following address:
